The concept to help people and animal and the environment is not a new one. Especially within the world of hunting and outdoorsmen. I've been impressed over the years at banquets and fund raisers to see the money raised to help put habitat and people and preserve the outdoors life and sportsmenship that many of us value in our lives.
Several years ago while attending the National Wild Turkey Federation banquet in Utah Mike and Sterling came up with the idea after seeing a young terminally ill hunter awarded a trip of a life time. It was a guided hunt with a top sportsman. It included all the trimmings, lodging assistance with getting to the birds and a full mount.
You should have seen the look on this teenagers face, he was barely able to contain himself. The next year they talked about the hunt and the join that it had brought into this mans life. He was still living but not doing well and when he does pass his parents will have the memory of that hunt with him the joy it brought and the full mounted bird.
Sterling and Mike put the idea in there head for "DisabledSportsmen.com" a group that would help people out just like this young man.
